I just noticed that Jeff Rowberg, the creator of the I2Cdevlib, was interviewed on the latest Amp Hour podcast in case anyone is interested. The MPU-6050 eventually also gets a mention somewhere in there 🙂 And what’s interesting to my data glove project, he too has problems running wires on his Keyglove 🙂
Quick distraction: Here’s a link to Jeremy Blum’s (has one of the best Arduino tutorials out there) blog and his documentation of the Sudo Glove project.
Ben Heck also used the MPU-6050 in one of his projects. Note, that it looks like he plugs the MPU-6050 breakout’s VIO to +5V, so that might work too. (Again, if I remember correctly, the manual would disagree, and if you do this, you do it at your own risk.)
